BIO
Cindy Latin is a professional musician, educator, and songwriter based in Manhattan. Raised on Long Island, New York, just under thirty minutes from one of the world’s greatest artistic cities, she was immersed in the arts from a young age. She grew up attending countless Broadway shows and performing in school and community musicals, which sparked her early love for musical theatre.

Cindy moved to Boston in 2015 to study Musical Theatre at the Boston Conservatory, where she trained in voice, acting, and dance. In the summer of 2016, she took courses at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute, where she began songwriting and discovered a new creative path. Inspired by this experience, she transferred to Berklee College of Music in 2017. She graduated in 2019 with a dual major in Songwriting and Contemporary Writing & Production, and a minor in the Theory of Jazz and Popular Styles. In July 2023, she completed her Master’s degree in Songwriting and Production at Berklee NYC.
Cindy is currently an Assistant Professor at Berklee College of Music, teaching in the Electronic Production & Design and Independent Recording & Production departments. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Mercy University in their Music Production & Recording Arts program.

Her original music blends Soul, R&B, and Jazz, with rich jazz harmony and emotionally expressive vocals. As a writer, performer, arranger, and producer, Cindy draws inspiration from artists like Stevie Wonder, Frank Ocean, Tori Kelly, and John Coltrane.
